My question is: what could he possibly have hoped to accomplish by doing what he did? What possible good or constructive point could have come out of such an act? Do people not think anymore before they act?

My wife said the same thing... did he expect someone to come out and say "Oops, Cane is right. Give that award back Taylor!" Fight battles you can win. For that matter, fight battles that matter. OOOOH, someone acted inappropriately at the MTV awards show. How shocking and world changing. Geez.

I like his music for the most part, however that VMA thing was pretty awkward. Wonder if he was under the influence of something or if it was just pure stupidity...

I've been trying to figure out what was his motive. I think he thought he could win Beyonce's fans? But instead he lost his own fans and ensured he will not gather any new fans.

I am very disappointed with him. His late mother was a classy lady who was an English professor. She probably rolled-over in her grave.
