• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

I am currently running a G4 933, 1gig RAM, with two internal hard drives, superdrive. I am looking to upgrade the stock video card.

I am looking to:
add dual monitor support (2 VGA monitors)
I would like to run Motion as well.

I do a lot of photoshop work and final cut pro work.

Any reccomendations? I was originally looking at the Radeon 9800 Pro but am a little concerned it might be too much card for the computer.

thanks,

Sinclair

9800 pro will be fine...trust me i have a 800x in my dual g5 and thats a little to much but i think that the 9800 (not the pro) is a little cheaper and will be great for what your doing

Thanks for the input. Any good resources for buying online? I checked www.pricegrabber.com and all I get is a listing for the 9800 Pro Mac edition. What is difference between the Pro and the standard

thx,
Sinclair
