Whilst using OSX, every time I dble click on a torrent file to download the bittorrent via Vuze, something strange happens. The downloaded file prompts windows to open. This happens regardless of whether (a) Windows (virtual machine) is on/off (b) Vuze has been deleted from Windows. Consequently I can't download bittorrents via Vuze for Mac.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled vuze to no avail.

Parallels Desktop 4.0.3846, XP Pro (VM), Mac OSX SNow Leopard 10.6, 2.5 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, Vuze for Mac.

Any ideas?

I was going to say that I have used 3 Torrent clients, and only one worked (µTorrent). Opera crashed on download, and BitTorrent just didn't download anything.
