i have macs and one pc , the pc is running windows 7 i need to recover the password is it possible for me to burn the recovery cd for a pc on my mac then use it to boot up my pc

Well, if you have the ISO image handy, you can open it with Disk Utility and burn it to a disk, which will be bootable. I do that with some other OSes (namely Linux). I did it with gOS today.
