Ok, tried searching for this but can't see an answer.

iPhoto 09 - faces - How do I choose which face will be the main one for an individual as it seems to randomly choose and a couple are not flattering to the owner of said face... ;P

On the faces cork board, look for the info button in the bottom right of the person's image.
It's an 'i' inside of a little circle.
Clicking that will flip the pic over where you can edit the person's info.
Just slide the mouse across the thumbnail and the image will change.
This can be tricky if you have a ton of images of this person.
Click on the one you want as the default.

Its a neat way to do it, but a little hidden. Can't say I blame yah. Needs a little redundancy, maybe with a context menu or something.

Thanks, I'll try that as soon as I get back home this evening.

Cheers,

Dave.

Another way is to scroll across the "Face Folder' which will display all of the photographs of that person contained within it. When one you like is displayed, just hit the space bar and it will select that image as the cover.

Thanks very much - my iPhoto face library is starting to look a little better :)
