Is it possible when you shut your Mac completely off that when you turn it back on you have to enter in your password? Just like if you just put it to sleep. I looked in the security application but it doesn't state a setting.

System Preferences -> Security. Place a check in the box that states:

"Disable automatic login"

That will require entering a password every time you log on.
