windows xp sound problem

i have macbook pro and i installed xp using boot camp its working fine but when i play some sound on xp with macbook pro speakers sound is very slow but as i connect my head set sound is full high in my head set .
then i was wondering when i go to sounds properties and recording it dosent give me option for stereo . any 1 who can help me with getting stereo option in my xp .

I have the same problem, but I think you mean the sound is slow as in not loud, or don't you?

As for me, the sound in XP is almost nonexistant.
If someone could clarify the problem and offer a solution to it... I'd be most grateful.
