looking for app that will keep my mac clean and also do system checks

I am looking for a app that will keep my mac clean by deleting history etc and also doing system checks.

Why would Van recommend OnyX if he didn't use it? If you're worried about it being safe to use, it is. I too use OnyX and recommend it.

As chscag said, why would I recommend it if I hadn't used it myself? True, sometimes I do recommend things I don't use but I only do so if that products has a good reputation. I don't use the CS suite for example but I would gladly recommend it for people who need something like it.
