If you're bouncing around after just ordering it, you'd better let me come over to do the unboxing for you as you'll be too busy prancing.

Nah, not yet.. But we've been dating for over a year, so "tehnically" we're common-lawed.

Not quite ;). Common law in Ontario is three years unless you have a child (source). Something you're not telling us about children? :p

Downside is, I have had to do it via apple financing (Barclay's) and so the turn around time is estimated at 3 weeks (Allowing for 14 days cool off period required by barclays before continuing payment to apple).

Anyone got any cool idea for my old MB? Thinking of formatting it and reinstalling 10.5 and turning it into just a media centre for my music and videos without the need of other software?

That's a fantastic haircut.

I think using your old Mac as a media center is a great idea. Or I would also just keep it around the house as another computer as backup. You could probably also sell it to some poor new college student as long as it's in good condition.

I REALLY had to ask nicely to get a membership with a haircut like this ;)

I think I will set it up under my desk maybe with front row/remote as my main way of selecting music etc when at home. Unless there is a better bit of software out there?
