Well, it turns out not only is Craigslist good for buying and selling things, I just managed to find a steal of a deal, now I am primarily a PC user but do like my Mac computers. I stumbled across an ad for the Mac Box Set, Leopard, iWork 09 and iLife 09, second licence for Leopard for the eMac I thought....the price, well the guy was asking for either $150 in cash (fair enough for me) or he was looking for a retail Windows Vista Home Premium Upgrade package.

Now having an unused Vista Home Premium Upgrade I bit, we did the swap tonight, not a bad deal if ya ask me.....

Now I can upgrade iLife and finally install iWork onto my Mini and get the eMac off of Tiger and into Leopard.....just thought I'd babble here :)

Provided the software is retail versions and not a specific system restore version which will install only on the model machine they were released with you got a good buy.

If not, this will not install on your eMac.....

harryb, it's the retail Box Set....retail Leopard, retail iWork 09 and retail iLife 09. black disc for Leopard and two white ones for the aplications. he even threw in a emote for the mini......since his iMac went crash on the floor.
