iTunes Transfer Help

Hello everyone, I recently purchased the 13 inch macbook pro. It's been great and I've had no troubles. I only have one question.

I had an iTunes account on my PC desktop, and I logged into my account on my mac and the songs and movies were not there.

I was wondering if there was a way to transfer the songs and music from my desktop to my mac digitally.
I do not have an external hard drive and I have more than 30 gigs of songs and movies on my desktop so my 2gb flash drive will not do the trick.

So the first obstacle will be getting the files onto the MacBook. You will have to transfer the physical files over first before importing them to iTunes.
