So after years of letting us be able to access iTunes, my company recently blocked it. Which is fine by me but I still use iTunes to listen to music at work.

But now, since it got blocked, it's doing this annoying thing where it always tries to sync with something online and it's causing an error message. It will still play music, but I have to hit cancel four times (to get the error message to go away).

Is there a way to turn off that feature so it doesn't try to go online?

I'm probably doing a poor job explaining this, so just let me know if I need to clarify.

Thanks, in advance.

This is for the Win version - not at a Mac right now.

Try Edit - Preferences - Store tab - uncheck everything that says "Automatically..."
