iChat only functions one way

When I am talking to friends on IChat webcam,I can see and hear them. They can hear me but there is no picture, and the little self image on my screen freezes, any ideas ? It has worked fine for two years with just the usual system glitches. thank you a lot,Tom

Turns out it was my D-Links router got out of synch and needed to be reset. I removed my router and connected directly through my modem and voila,it worked,so I knew the router was the problem,I took a crash course in D-Links routers on youtube and the fix was in. hope this helps someone else,Tom

Glad you fixed your problem,
a little hint for the future if your not running the
newest iChat (which you may be?) I would suggest it,
part of the Small updates is greater network stability and
detection, since update I have no longer had freeze screens
from iSight especially during group chats,
just a thought.
