I would say burn an audio CD, not an mp3 CD, of the tracks you want, then rip the CD in Windows Media Player.

I'm emailing Steve Jobs with this gross violation of his intellectual property.

Excuse me? Protected DRM iTunes music can be burned in iTunes to an Audio CD. That is totally legal. It's allowed and always has been since i first started using iTunes and purchasing music from ITMS years ago now.

Also now all iTunes music is DRM free. It's the older iTunes music at 128k AAC that had DRM.

To the OP, that is the only way I know of that is legal to play the older DRM iTunes music outside of iTunes or an iPod. There are illegal ways of removing DRM but we do not allow discussion here at Mac Forums of illegal activities.

What media player are we talking about?
To play on windows you would need iTunes or
a codec or alternately run a converter (such as media convert)
to get AAC to Mp3 although is really timely
I wouldn't bother with CDs anyways grab the files
from finder and drag them onto a flash drive....
(although that's just me...)

hope it helps.
