To all,

Good morning. Does anyone have a suggestion/recommendation on a video tutorial for using Nikkon Digital SLRs particularly the D90 from basic to advance level?

Thanks.

Great post. I'd never thought of that but your post prompted me to Google 'Nikon D90 tutorial' and I immediately came across this

How to operate the Nikon D90 digital camera | Wonder How To

Looks quite good on first scan - there seems to be quite a few more.

I know lots here might say why didn't you just google that yourself - but if you had done I'd have never have found this link - so thanks.

Ken Rockwell also has a great site with user guides on many cameras including the D90. Check it out here.

Blegh never go with Ken Rockwell. It's very opinionated. He basically says it's basically a big joke. Refer here.

So ... It's all a joke. I like jokes and jokesters.

I also like opinions. Opinions are what most of us are looking for when we're looking for reviews, how to's, or most any other thing. Surely don't want some wishy washy commentary without an opinion. Reading the opinions of others about why they do one thing vs another is what helps us decide what it is we're going to do until we gain the experience in a thing.

And he's got some decent advice pertaining to photography without getting all that technical, which is a good thing for most of us beginners. Personally, I've found as much good stuff here as anywhere on the web.

Thank you all for your suggestions. It is much appreciated especially since there were quite a few hits when I initially did a search thus can be overwhelming at times.

Not exactly a video tutorial though is it. (Though still some useful tips in there).

Ken has a grip of info on his sight. His opinions are only that. He is a little too specific on his tastes/distastes for me, but that's him.

Thom Hogan also has a great site. Bythom.com. His has a more technical/"the big picture" approach.

Bjorn has a great website. Especially his lens evaluations. Naturfotograf.com.

Nikoncafe.com
FredMiranda.com
Nikonians.org
Photo.net
Nikongear.com

All great forums to ask questions like this one.
