Does anybody know if I can use my UK Macbook Charger in the USA

Yes, you can... you just need a plug adapter for the US. The charger itself takes care of voltage conversion, and will work fine on our 110v outlets.

You can probably buy a plug adapter at any electronics store for a few £, or the official Apple worldwide adapter kit from your nearest Apple Store.

Yes you can, I've used my over there, just buy a cheap plug adaptor for about 50p or whatever.
