I have a bunch of video (3000 Hrs) of video from an IP camera that was saved in .HGD files on a windows machine. I now need to convert the video to something that I can edit and later burn to DVD. The Vivotek software that came with it says it will convert it to AVI files but it seems to keep crashing so I can't get it converted. I have Final Cut Express and of course I-Movie and would like to use them to make clips that are playable on a home DVD player. Any thoughts or ideas on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.
