cpu meter is at its max with logic 8

Hi all,

Im having some problems with my mac its a G5 power mac duel 2.3 with 8g of memory.

Im running logic 8 and the cpu meter is at its max. i dont think im over doing it with audio instruments or plugins is there anythin i dan do to solve this problem.

PLEASE HELP
