Hey guys. Just a quick question. I am trying to put a movie which is only 820 mb's onto a dvd disk using iDvd ... but when I import the video into iDvd it re renders it and makes it over 4.5 gig and the disk is a single layer dvd disk which only has the normal 4.2 gig on it ... how can I make it fit onto that .. ? or can't I ... cheers for all your help guys.

You don't measure in MBs or GBs. The concern here is length and encoding used for that length.

iDVD is suppose to be able to put up to about 2 hours of material onto a single layer DVD. Go into the Project Info window and mess with the three Encoding possibilities..
