I have an ibook g4 and it can not play HD movies. I recently purchased an adapter to have my mac play on my 42" hd tv but it is kind of pointless when my mac can't even play hd movies
Right now i am running mac os x VERSION 10.4.11
Processor- 1.2 GHz PowerPC G4
Memory 768 MB DDR SDRAM

Obviously that is not enough to run hd movies perfectly.
Is there any type of software i can download or do i have to get more RAM or what?

Please help me as to what i should do, and post links to where i can do so.

thanks!!

This Apple page will give you system requirements you need to meet to play back HD video. According to those, you don't meet the processor requirements for 480p, let alone 720p or 1080p.

According to that chart you are going to need a newer mac, a Intel core duo at least.
