I am trying to find a Microsoft Access equivalent for the Mac as, unfortunately, Office for Mac does not include Access :(

I have had a look at the Neo Office offering, but that doesn't really have any programmability in it. I need something with VBA or "VBA like" coding ability.

I've done a bit more research and it appears that NeoBase does come with a BASIC programming language.

It looks as though I could get to grips with it, but before I spend some serious time learning how to use it I was wondering if any-one had any experience developing applications using NeoBase?

Specifically if you have previously developed an application in MS Access and have since used NeoBase.

By application I mean forms with event driven VBA code, not just slapped a few tables together and got the wizard to whip up some poorly coded forms.

many thanks
