what software do you use to put the tabs on the side? sorry, I'm a noob, don't know much yet.

hahaha, that video has been posted FOUR times on i-club (Subaru forum) today! God only knows how many times the first one was posted!!

yeah i've watched it about 10 times.
~~the program is called Edgies...pretty much the same as Stickies, but you put them anywhere on the sides like tabs.

Here's mine (outdated link removed). Nothing fancy, just Bowtie in the left corner and Terminal updating the locate db. I know Terminal is not part of the desktop but I sure seem to have it open enough.

Nothing special either. I have bowtie too, and alot of icons in my Dock.. :p
I try to keep my desktop nice and tidy. I also liked that picture of the earth that came with the Mac, so I kept it. Of course, I change my desktop background all the time. ;P
