sleeping in incase sleeve?

Is it alright to put my new macbook in a incase sleeve while it is sleeping? or should i turn it off first?

I leave mine asleep when it's in my incase sleeve - it will be absolutely fine.

incase sleeve

Maybe under those conditions the sleeve should be referred to as a sleep in case sleeve.What do you think?
