I have a Apple mac mini using the wireless airport built in to it, and when it uses a browser(firefox or safari) access the internet it will knock
my qwest 2wire wireless router offline until i close the browser.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?I have other windows computer both wired and wireless connected and they don't do this.
Maybe if i connect the mac using wire instead of wireless?
I am new to mac,I have had if for about 6 months.
Thanks

mac mini crashing router

I have checked my mac and the dns is set correctly,i contacted qwest and i did have the correct dns settings.
I am thinking this is a mac problem since i have a number of windows computers along with the mac, and only the mac crashes the dsl/wireless modem.
I did notice that the windows computers are set to automaticly get dns settings and mac only has the setting typed in.
Does "airport"differ that much to using the onboard internet ?

But even the Airport settings need to be set to Using DHCP and then the ISP DNS which is added separately in the L/H pane under the router address.
