I need to alter a setting in Word 2004 relating to the formatting of images.
As an ex-Windows user - I simply clicked on the image, went to TOOLs>OPTIONS and changed the formatting to THROUGH [which enables me to move the image around within Word.

In the Mac version - there is no TOOLS>OPTIONS.

Thank you.

You should just click around to find your desired features, in this case, I think you want "ctrl-click -> Format Picture".

Think different. :)

Thank you for your reply but what I need is to be able to set that to the default so that I don't need to do this each time.

Don't have Word on my machine at the moment, but it's probably under Word > Preferences.

Every Mac app has a Preferences dialog, and it's always in the application menu.
