Hello everyone, I'm a newbie :)
I'm not in US, I'm from vietnam. In my country, not much Mac user and unfortunately, I'm fall in love with a mac :) I intend to buy a macbook pro 2.4ghz but i'm thinking a lot. (it makes me headache) Should I buy a mac while I'm study in IT major, specialize windows. Are there many problems while many my friends around me use windows but I use a mac? I know I can install win on macbook, but it's not good for mac's health, isn't it? I don't know I will become a windows developer or network administrator. if i become a network administrator, I have to use win all the time and it's not a good idea if i use a mac.

Finally, i don't intend to buy other laptops after this purchase. I must think clearly for this purchase. Give me some advise. thanks you so much!

If you are going to be working with Windows at work then get a Windows PC/Notebook for work.

At home you can use Mac.

Of course, if you want a mac and an afford one computer, plum for the mac.

You can always use OS X in your own time and run a copy of Windows in Boot Camp or Virtual Box for your IT course.
