I'm a new mac user love the site, helps me out a lot. One feature I really like in other forums is a "shoutbox" kind of like a chatbox thing that you can put at the top of the page. It great to chat and get to know the users, as well to ask quick questions instead of creating a new thread for a little question. Just a thought

We used to have a shoutbox, but have since removed it.

If you're looking for an answer to a quick question, you are better served by using the Search feature.
Almost any question you can think of has already been asked and answered here.
