Web Browsers- Printing URL Footer/ Background Image

I must say I have been quite disappointed to find that I am going to have to go back to using Internet Explorer. I was hoping some of you might tell me I'm wrong.

I need a web browser that I can do the following with:

- Turn off Print Header and Footers (avoid seeing the url and timestamp)
- Enable Printing Back Ground images and colors

We are using a webbased database at our school and these requirements need to be met.


I can't believe Firefox or Safari don't have these features. If they do, I have found no reference to them. Firefox for windows does but that doesn't help me. Anyone have any other browser suggestions for 10.3?

safari does this. in the print dialogue, where it says copies, click it and go to safari.
