I have two physical hard drives on my e Machines Desktop. I took them out just to fiddle with them. I plug them back in and stuff and when I boot up, i get -

Verifying DMI Pool Data........ ( black screen)

and it wont go away. I went into BIOS and told it to auto detect and to boot from Hard Drive... didnt work, then I did Fail Safe Default Settings and It dindt help either.

Try reversing the order you re-connected them.

If you re-installed them in a different order, it is probably trying to boot from the drive that does not have the OS installed on it.

I would shut down, go back in, remove and re-plug all cables to make sure they are attached properly and snugly.

Should be as easy as that, if that's all you did was remove and replace the hard drives and have been using the Bios to go back and forth booting between disks.
