full screen when surfing

I read the FAQs, and think I know the answer to this. But is there any way to utilize the full screen, meaning covering up the dock, when surfing the internet?

Besides auto hiding the dock no, and even when that's done you still have the top menu bar.

To enable auto-hide of the dock, go to system preferences>dock,
see the last option, "Automatically Hide and show the Dock", check it, and then you will have the dock auto hide! :)
