    Therefore to clarify:

    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. Hi,

I'm trying to do some green screen work in FC. I have a person walking across a backdrop that has various trees and rocks. I want to simulate casting a shadow so I tried turning on Drop Shadow on the person layer. However the Offset slider at 100% doesn't move the shadow low enough.

Does anyone know how I can simulate a shadow and have more control of the placement?

Thanks!

So none knows what to do for shadows? Any suggestions where else I should look?

Thanks.

I get really good responses from the Apple forum on FCE. Good luck.

I can tell you that you will not exactly get the look you want using FCE. It might be better for you to try another program such as AE.

If you don't have the time to learn AE you can try in FCE, to use the layer of the person, off setting it and distorting the image, while at the same time playing with effects to get it to look like the shadow is actually a shadow and not just a mirror image of your subject.

You can do this by playing with various color / contrast / video filters readily available in FCE or on the internet for download.
