Keyboard short cut in Preview

Hi all. I've recently just got a Mac and I see that in the Preview program, I can highlight PDFs and save it. Awesome.

They key board short cut is ^(command)H

How do I do this? I mean, what buttons do I push? I've tried 6(command)H, uparrow (command) H, and it only hides my current window.
