Leopard wants to open applications in small windows that do not show much of the information without scrolling. Let's use Address Book for a example. When I click on the icon it opens in a little window. I can drag the bottom right corner to make it bigger, but I can't save that so it will open in that size next time. Is there a way to accomplish this?

Also, is there a setting to open all application windows maximized?

I have the book The Missing Manual, but can't find this information. Probably, I am not using the correct term for what I want to do.

Thanks

Most every application (including the Address Book) will remember window size and placement from the last time it was run.

Strange. It is saving the window size now, but it wasn't earlier.

Thanks for the reply.
