Can I use iLife (iDVD or iMovie) program to duplicate DVD's?

I just purchased the 2009 version of iLife. Is there a program within the software that will allow me to duplicate DVD disks (these aren't copyright protected just home movies from my camcorder) using my internal DVD writer?

Actually Disk Utility does a good job of this. Simply create an image of your disc and then burn the image to another disc.

If you want a program more aimed at general burning tasks, the open source Burn is great too.

You can duplicate DVD's in the finder since they are not copy protected. I prefer to use Burn or Toast myself but you can do it with Finder.

I see CWA beat me to it! :D Grin

Good info on using Disk Utility. That works great.
