Adding Instrument Generators in Garageband

Hey all, I'm new here and I have a question. I have an intel macbook and I am trying to add a new generator called "Magical 8 bit Plug." I have followed the instructions but for some reason it still won't show up. Any thoughts?

Your Mac's Specs
PowerBook G4, 1.5Ghz, 768Mb RAM, 80gb hard drive-imac G4-ipod touch 32Gb 3g-Macbook 2.4ghz, 2BG RAM
Make sure your plug-in is the universal binary version for the Intel macs. Take the component file and put it in:
Macintosh HD > Libraries > Audio > Plug-Ins > Components
Launch GB, open a software track, then in the edit section sound generator it should appear.
