I've taken about 2700 still images that I want to assemble into a time-lapse video. I've got all of the individual images cropped to 1280x720 (which is what I'd like the final video dimensions to be). I then used QuickTime Pro to do the "Open Image Sequence..." thing (@ 25 fps). Then I do "File>Save As" & select "Save as a self-contained movie" to end up with a large MOV.
Now, I want to take this MOV into iMovie HD & add titles, soundtrack, etc. When I import the MOV created with QuickTime Pro (File>Import), my video is squeezed in horizontally so that there are vertical black bars on both sides of the image. Sorry for lacking the proper terminology to describe this, but the import seems to have "squished" my 1280 wide video into something less wide, and padded the resulting space on each side with black during the import.
Can someone tell me what I've done wrong?
Thx,
