Look in the Utilities folder within Applications.

Another neat trick - click the magnifying glass in the upper-right corner and type in "Disk Utility", it should serve it right up.

Way... way too many specs to list.
holding cmd and hitting the space bar will also bring up spotlight :)

I haven't got disk utility

Hey guys,
I might be missing something but i don't seem to have disk utility. I cannot find it in spotlight or the utility folder in applications. Is there a way of retrieving or downloading it?

Thanks,
Max

How about filling us in on which Mac you have and what version of OS X you're running?

You're likely going to have to reinstall OS X in order to get Disk Utility back. It can not be downloaded from Apple.

Or use Pacifist if you have the original install DVD'd to extract just the Diskutility.app

Or just run Disk Utility from your install DVD. It works better that way anyway, it's a little limited for certain tasks when running "on the fly".
