cordless speakers to be used on a Mac

Hi all

I am new here and hope some can help me.

I am seeking cordless speakers to be used on a imac.

I am not finding it...maybe I am just not looking at the right store...But, can some help me, what is a good maker and so?

The best way to do it is probably to buy yourself an Airport Express, then connect an ordinary pair of speakers to it. iTunes will wirelessly stream the music to these speakers via the Airport Express.

That's probably the cost effective way to do it.

Here's a link at Amazon - you're looking at $150-200 just for speakers that do this, and you'll still need a device plugged into your iMac.

If you get a wireless set of speakers, you would not need the airport express. The speakers will come with a small device that plugs into the audio out port which then transmits to the speakers.

Or grab the airport express and just a regular set of speakers that plug into the AE.
