hey there,

Just brought ilife for my macbook air, but the thing is I have no external drive/superdrive!
I rebooted the whole of os x leopard the other day by using my dell laptop and rebooting the whole software from scratch. Question is can I do this for ilife or do i need to purchase a superdrive?

Regards

Yes, you need an optical drive, you should buy an external optical drive. You could try with the dell laptop, I am not sure it will work though.

The Air comes with drive sharing software which you can install on your Windows PC. The Air then connects via your wireless network and can read CD/DVD media from your Windows PC CD/DVD drive.

You don't need to buy an external CD/DVD drive, but it's the preferred solution.
