how do i leave the disc appendable within iPhoto?

the option is there when I select share > burn, but there's no way to use it?

edit: found the answer within apple support. i'd never guess it just isn't available.

As faras I know, the "burn" feature in iPhoto is simply for backing up and the like. It leaves the file in a format only iPhoto can read, so it is not meant for sharing your photos. Try disk utility, or maybe Toast or similar. Can probably make an appendable disk that way.
