I searched the crap out of this forum and tried a bunch of things, but still can't figure this out.

My sister downloaded some .avi files of TV shows. She wants them on DVDs that play on a normal DVD player (DVD company said has to be mpeg2 format).

I have iDVD and Toast Titanium 9. Two programs that supposedly should be able out do it...maybe I'm doing something wrong but I can't for the life of me figure this out.

Can I get step by step fool proof instructions for doing this?

Your Mac's Specs
Macbook, Mac Mini, 2 Classic Ipod's, and an old Imac
Toast will probably be the best bet. Just go to Video section, choose DVD video (not DVD video from TS), make sure that it is setup to burn from the correct drive, and click burn. It may take a while to "encode", depending on your computer, but it should work.

Problem with that is we tried it (maybe twice) and it didn't read on the DVD player.

Granted, its possible thats because they weren't mpeg2...

I read somewhere you need a menu? Or a Video TS folder (or something to that effect) Unfortunatly I dont know that that is or how to make one.

Alright I got it. Can you give me a step by step for burning multiple episodse?

(I also downloaded MenuEdit from that site)

Only reason I'm asking is my sister will be upset if it wastes another DVD.
