Hello,

I've just bought an ipod classic and I'm trying to get a movie on there - I've ripped it from a DVD that I bought using Mac the Ripper, converted to MP4 using Handbrake and got it into the itunes library. All good so far. I then synch'd the ipod - it took all my audio files across but displayed a message saying "movie cannot be played on this ipod". Any idea what may be causing this and how I can remedy it?

Thanks,

Mike.

Did you use the iPod preset? I believe it has to be a certain resolution, bitrate, etc. to actually play on an iPod.

It needs to be a set resolution, toggle the handbrake presets to get a menu and you can choose iPod hires as one of the options
