• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

Well you can import all your movies into one "event" in iMovie. That's what I would do.

Those files sound like split RAR or ZIP files. Get your self the free version of stuffit expander. Install. Then double click on the matching RAR or ZIP file. If there isn't one just double click on the first file (001 etc).

I suppose you could use the terminal command 'cat', like so;

cat xxx.mkv.001 xxx.mkv.002 xxx.mkv.003 > mynewfile

I don't know if this is really applicable to this problem since I don't understand the file details.

Thanks for posting the link, however, take note that you replied to a post that was well over two years old.

chscag,

Sure billinrio knows the thread is old. I smell some marketing going on.

Yeah, I thought about that too. However, I couldn't associate the link to him directly so we just have to "assume" he was being helpful. Thanks for your concern.
