I am very new to iMovie but I've used Macs exclusively for years. I've watched the Apple tutorials but I haven't found an answer to solve my problem.
I recorded a concert of local musicians. I taped from a tripod so I wasn't watching through the video recorder most of the evening, I was taking photos with my dig still camera. There is a long space during one performance when the singer moved out of frame for a full minute or two and I didn't catch it. I want to keep the remainder of the song but overlay it with still photos I took. I haven't found a way to do that yet. Can you point me in the right direction?
Or do I import the still photos and somehow clip the portion of soundtrack and reattach that to the new still photo selection? You can see I probably am not using the correct terminology. I hope I'm explaining it well enough that you know what I'm talking about.
I haven't tried importing still photos yet, but that looks simple enough and there's a tutorial to fall back on if I get confused.
TIA
