Hello, in the midst of network and sharing settings an application has disabled Java Script. Can anyone tell me how to enable it?

Using Safari? Click on Preferences, Security, check box that says "Enable Java".

Regards.

Yes I'm using Safari. I'm having trouble with a lot of websites and getting this message, "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player." My flash player is up to date and my JavaScript is enabled under the Safari preferences. I'm running OSX with Little Snitch if that helps.

It looks like this on many popular websites.

Links/Very popular sites from my bookmarks and URL's that I type in look something like this... screen-capture.jpg

I don't think "Little Snitch" has anything to do with the error but if you have a way to turn it off, do so as a test. Also, post the URL of one of the sites you're having difficulty with.

Regards.

I'm really racking up the IP's in my firewall log. What steps do I need to take, if any, until I can get to my Apple store?

I just checked out all the sites you posted, no problem from my end. As far as the firewall log is concerned - as long as you have your firewall "Set access for specific services and applications" you should be in no danger.

Just as a long shot, you might want to try repairing disk permissions. If you have OnyX use that. If not, run Disk Utility and do it from there.

Regards.

I repaired the disk permissions. It found and repaired quite a few, but I'm still having problems.

From the screenshot you posted, it looks as though the site is not loading completely (the CSS file is obviously missing or not loaded on youtube).

What kind of connection are you on? Do other pages look all broken like that, or is just the dynamic content broken (e.g. flash player)?

How does Mac-forums show up for you? (screenshot!)

Sites like Google and Yahoo! say the server cannot be reached. Sites with complicated script, or what not, are the ones that appear broken. Is there anything to do about all the incoming IP's? Maybe a site I can post all of them on for others to pick on maybe?

I'm not following you. What incoming IPs?

But it sounds as though there's no script or plugin issue - just a general poor connection issue.

Are those all incoming attempts that your firewall has blocked? I'd just ignore them...
