I'm getting ready to switch over to a 15" w/super drive. With the super drive can you only burn onto Apples own DVDs... or can you use any brand?

Yeah, you can burn onto any DVD-R's. There are defaintely quality issues with some brands. I use Imation for CD-R's and Maxell for DVD-R/RW's. I heard that Memorex are bad, and would stay away from those. There is, of course, tons of info about this on the net, and google can you be your friend with this.
