Hi,
I'm running Win XP Professional v. 2002 SP3 on the Win partition of Boot Camp on a Mac mini. Why is there no Stereo Mix in the sound recording control panel? There is only SPDIF and Line In. The Mixer Device (the only one) is Sigma Tel Audio. Without Stereo Mix I cannot record streamed music onto my HD. My recording software 'hears' nothing (Cool Edit Pro) with these limited 2 choices. All my other PC's have had no problem recording streamed music with Cool Edit Pro and I believe that Stereo Mix was what made it work. Is it the architecture of the Mac machine? Is there a 3rd party sound driver I can install (SoundBlaster, etc.)? Thanks!
