Avatars

Hi, could you possibly let me know where you got your Avatars from?

Did they come with the stock vBulletin install, or have you added them separately

I think there are a few default ones to choose from here on the forums (I haven't checked in a while), but I created my own from a larger image.

Sorry if I wasn't very clear, I have my own little forums at www.mac-help.com and wanted to now if the owner of this forum had got their Avatar's with vBulletin or if they had purchased them separately.

It would be nice to offer new members to my forums an Avatar that was already loaded on the system.

Even though as you say most people would like to create thier own

I'm not quite sure honestly. I think that the previous owner (Emrys) installed a whole lot but I don't know where he got them from - I'm pretty certain the stock VB install doesn't come with that many avatars.

you could always email emrys, I've chatted with him here and there, so he's around. I know I made my avatar from a larger image I scaled down in photoshop.

Thanks, when I purchased VB it didn't come with any Avatars. Not to worry, I will have a search around on the net and find some or make some.

Hi , well newish.

I've owned the domain mac-help.com for a long time, but never really had the time to do anything with it.

I put up a copy of VB a few months ago and have just got round to start playing with it !

Any input from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, I will have a search on the VB website, in the morning, to see if I have done the install incorrectly.
