• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

i'm confused here: I have my movie edited in iMovie and now i'd like to burn it. Using iDVD is confusing me. Everytime I open it its got that default "children's Play" thing goin on!!! argh

How do I just create my own "start" page with chapters/pics/music and then import my movie from iMove to create a completed movie file???

Looks like my movie project is about 11GB worth, will this be a problem when burning?

I am not in from my system at this time. Once you have the application open, you will most likely have the last template or theme that open upon the last usage. There is a button located on the bottom left of the application screen. Select it an you get a set up screen. In that window you should also see some tabs. In this area you are able to make the changes that you want for your DVD.

thanks, this is good help.

but one more thing, is it possible to burn the movie file onto a CD-R?? almost like a VCD? Since I do not have a superdrive looking for options. My friend's powerbook has one and we are going to try to burn DVDs but i'm curious if i can make VCD's
