Sort of a basic question about file naming...

You can have files named the same as long as they aren't in the same directory right? Like I can have a folder called "puppy" and then inside that folder have another folder called "puppy" and so on? There are no problems with this?

there won't be any issues from this, but you should reconsider your file organization. having too much depth (folders inside of folders, inside of folders, etc, etc) to your folder tree, and having folders with the same names can become confusing.
